{ Jill + Dale }

Zac and I had a great time photographing Jill + Dale tie the knot! They are another great couple and have a cutie of a son, Jasper, to complete their family portrait. :) (I was so impressed with how patient he was taking shot after shot!) The event went off without a hitch--the rain stayed away, and there was an awesome old band shell in the park just outside of their church. Perfection! Best wishes and congratulations to you, Jill + Dale (and Jasper)!! I wish you and your family many years of happiness to come! :)

Ahh...I love the Fourth of July! It's one of my favorite holidays. I love everything about it...I hope you all had a relaxing time celebrating with family and friends! { Chrissy + Ben }

After a week of pouring rain, Chrissy + Ben lucked out with a sunny Saturday for their backyard wedding! The event took place on Chrissy's family's property, a farm they've had for generations that's filled with history. (Her grandpa's barn of vintage goodies was no doubt a favorite spot!) Ben's father officiated the ceremony, making the affair that much more intimate and special. Chrissy + Ben - You two were so sweet + wonderful to work with! I hope you're basking in the Aruba sun as we speak, and enjoying your first week of marriage to the fullest... :)

The pages and spreads in { Vogue } have always been a big inspiration of mine...I love seeing the photography and presentation, and of course, the styling + fashion. I gasped at this spread from their current issue by the unbelievably talented { Arthur Elgort }. His work is the kind that makes all of the little hairs stand up on the back of your neck...the kind of imagery that makes you hold your breath when you look at it. { Halle } 2 years

I spent a beautiful afternoon last week meeting up in the Dells and photographing my best friend + my goddaughter. These are Halle's two-year portraits, even though she's approaching the 2 1/2 mark. We had fun wandering around the alleys and chowing down on Monk's burgers afterwards. I can never get my fill of hearing the little pixie voice or seeing the two of them...I love you girls!

{ Miranda + Adam }

This wedding season I vowed more images and less chatter in my blogging, and Miranda + Adam's fantastically gorgeous wedding post will be just that! WOW! I absolutely love this couple. Miranda is the kind of girl you feel like you've known forever as soon as you meet her. She is so sweet & welcoming; we really felt like we were old friends partaking in their wedding. And the way that Adam looks at her just makes your heart melt...

Their details were off the charts as Miranda promised at their engagement session, and they did not disappoint. Between her unbelievable { Kenneth Pool } gown, the lighting design, the floral, the centerpieces, the cake...I was in photographer heaven! To Miranda + Adam - so many congratulations to you two!! I hope you're having a wonderful time in St. John! :)
