Zac and I had a great time photographing Jill + Dale tie the knot! After a week of pouring rain, Chrissy + Ben lucked out with a sunny Saturday for their backyard wedding! I spent a beautiful afternoon last week meeting up in the Dells and photographing my best friend + my goddaughter. These are Halle's two-year portraits, even though she's approaching the 2 1/2 mark. Another lovely wedding, another lovely couple! Marcia + Zach married one another on a breezy May afternoon. I love how unique each wedding truly is. This was the first ceremony I've photographed that included the Mexican tradition of a lasso, which is placed around the bride and groom to symbolize unity. It's official. The "studio" will be closed for the month of December. What this means:- I will not be scheduling any shoots until January. Halle's canvases came in today, and they are so cool! We did a special order with custom sizes--four 8 x 8 canvases with a black 1 1/2" band (instead of a full gallery wrap). Her mom is going to display these in a grouping of four on Halle's bedroom wall. Check them out!
